Two Types of Onboarding. Both Fast.
CWS handles both tracks — getting you set up as a client, and then getting each of your employees legally hired. Here's how each works.

EMPLOYEE ONBOARDING ISRAEL TIMELINE
Our employee onboarding Israel process is designed to get your new hire operational within days. Here is the complete employee onboarding Israel timeline from contract signing to first payroll.
From Details to Day One in 24 Hours
Once we receive the employee's documentation, here's exactly what happens — and when.
Employee Details Received
You provide the employee's name, email, role, monthly gross salary, and desired start date. CWS opens the employee file and issues the employment contract immediately.
Employee Documentation
The employee completes required Israeli paperwork digitally:
- Tax declaration form (Tofes 101)
- Pension fund election (or new fund selection)
- Two forms of ID
- Bank account details
Pension & Benefits Setup
CWS registers the employee with their chosen pension fund and sets up mandatory loss-of-income insurance as required under Israeli labour law.
Payroll System Configuration
CWS configures the employee in the payroll system: income tax withholding (based on Tofes 101), National Insurance contributions, pension deductions, and any additional benefit deductions.
Bituach Leumi Registration
CWS files the employment notification with Bituach Leumi (National Insurance Institute of Israel) and registers the employee for National Insurance contributions.
Employee Is Legally Employed
The employee is fully onboarded, legally employed through CWS Israel, and ready to begin work. All compliance documentation is on file. First payslip processed at month-end.

COMMON EMPLOYEE ONBOARDING ISRAEL QUESTIONS
Onboarding FAQ
How does the 24-hour employee onboarding work?
The 24-hour clock starts once the employee submits all required documentation — Tofes 101, two forms of ID, bank details, and pension selection. CWS then completes all registrations and payroll setup within that window. If documentation arrives complete and correct, the employee is legally employed and ready to work in 24 hours.
What is included in client onboarding?
Client onboarding covers everything needed for CWS to act as your Employer of Record in Israel: signing the service agreement, setting up your client account, establishing your compliance and payroll structure, and issuing the first employment contract. This takes 48 hours from when the service agreement is signed.
What is Tofes 101 and why is it required?
Tofes 101 is Israel's mandatory income tax declaration form. Every employee must submit it at the start of employment. It tells the employer how to calculate income tax withholding. Israeli law requires it from Day 1, and failure to submit results in maximum tax withholding being applied.
What if the employee doesn't have an active pension fund?
No problem. CWS Israel guides the employee through selecting a pension fund from the approved list. We then handle registration directly. For new pension fund setups, allow an additional 24 hours — so total employee onboarding takes 48 hours rather than 24.
What is the 8-week satisfaction guarantee?
If within 8 weeks of your first employee's onboarding you are not satisfied with our service for any reason, you can exit without penalty. We stand behind the quality of our onboarding and ongoing HR and payroll service.
